When I enable "Start 11 autohide mode" I can't get the taskbar to show back up on the main monitor unless I press the Windows key on my keyboard. I can drag my mouse cursor down all I want but it won't bring the taskbar back up. I've since had to disable autohide.
The only workaround that I can see is keeping the Start11 Config screen always open, not even minimized; it has to be open somewhere on the desktop for the taskbar to be able to be pulled back up.
This is an issue in both the current stable version as well as the beta version (which I'm running).
Thank you for providing that link. To report, the issue persists, and here are the steps I followed:
I uninstalled version 2.03 and removed all settings. Subsequently, I restarted the computer. Upon logging back into Windows, I installed version 2.04 beta and restarted the computer again. After returning to Windows, I enabled auto-hide, but the problem persists. As a side note, the folders I initially pinned were still present on the taskbar. I expected that clearing all settings would remove those folders.
I have recorded another video demonstrating my settings and tests, which you can find below:
Need to know few more thing, since, I still can not reproduce your issue on my system.
Look like you have all black wallpaper or you set your windows background to solid dark color?
Also it might be due to high refresh rate on your monitor Alienware. Is it possible if you can, as a test, just run on one of your other monitor, hopefully with lower refresh rate. And, see if the issue still the same.

My background is a solid black color with no wallpaper. I changed the background color to green and adjusted the monitor refresh rate to 60Hz, similar to all the other monitors. I recorded a new video to demonstrate that the issue still persists on the monitor. I'm beginning to suspect that Start 11 may not be fully compatible with ultrawide monitors resolutions for some reason.
Taskbar pins are user pins and not something the uninstaller can remove itself as it did not create them.
Thanks for sharing that information. It seems like users might assume that, since you can't natively do this in Windows and Start 11 has the option to pin folders to the taskbar, Start 11 is responsible for this capability.
On an unrelated note: I would also like to share that posting on the forums has become increasingly difficult. Each time I attempt to reply or interact with my account, it consistently will not allow me to login. At one point, I received a too many redirects error.

I wasn't sure if replying to multiple quotes in a single post would ping you but wanted to make sure you saw my above message to the response you request. Please see the previous post.

Hello, No need to ping, I saw your respond. And, after rereading through this thread, I realize there is another report with this same issue on Alienware monitor (reply#38). So I wonder if both system have Alienware Command Center installed. And, from what I read Alienware Command Center do have some kind on desktop overlay introduced on your desktop. Is it possible to disable Alienware Command Center or at least disable that overlay as a test and see if that is causing this issue.

I do not have Alienware’s Command Center installed.
Hello, I have forwarded your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.
I recently upgraded to V2 and also have an auto hide problem. I do not use the Start 11 enhanced taskbar. I have auto hide on in Windows settings. With maximed windows I regularly get no taskbar anymore. If I move a non maximized window partly over the taskbar, I do see the taskbar coming up, but it's not in the foreground, it moves behind the displayed program. I'm just assuming that with maximized windows, it actually might be moving as well in the background. With the Windows key, I can get the taskbar and menu to appear.
Hello, Sorry to hear you are having issues. I can not reproduce your issue on my system. Screenshot below.
Please try this. Uninstall Start11 v2, reboot immediately after uninstall done. Re-download latest Start11 v2. Install it. Reboot immediately again, retest it and report back.

I followed your instructions, I'm running the beta now. Same issue. The issue seems to start when the monitor has been to sleep.
I went back to Start 11 v1, same issue. Very strange. Other things that have changed since this issue started. I got a bigger monitor with bigger resolution and more display scaling. I updated Nvidia drivers and LG's OnScreen Control. Must be one of these other things or a combination.

That's especially odd as Start11 v1 does not implement the autohide as it is a new in v2 feature. It uses the OS option complete with the single row restriction and taskbar at the bottom only in v1.
It is worth noting that if the OS autohide is enabled then the start 11 v2 one is disabled so do check your settings.
You can tell them apart in use because the start11 one fades in and the OS one slides.
Thank you. I have installed the latest beta version and so far no issues with the autohide feature. I will keep an eye on it over the next few days.
However, the Vertically centre the taskbar buttons on the taskbar under Enhanced Taskbar Settings isn't working; they are staying left justified on the taskbar. It was working before turning on Enhanced Taskbar Settings.
I've noticed that the auto-hide issue is still happening; but not constantly. I'm trying to figure out what could be causing it. I will continue to test.
Here are 2 additional issues with the taskbar with popping (they were like this when the auto-hide issue was happening):

Neil mentioned this on Start11 and OS auto hide behavior . Look like from your video both effect happened at the same time. Slide in and out with fade in and out happening. Can you verify this and check if OS Auto-hide was indeed turned off?

I had made sure to turn it off before enabling Enhanced Taskbar. It is still turned off.

That setting is purely for vertical alignment so that would be normal. Based on your other bug reports I would recommend you disable that option.
If you want to centre horizontally this is a setting on the start button page.
