difficulty finding survey / flag / unique ships

if you send them out to auto survey or let them form into fleets it can get very difficult to find survey/flag/unique ships later. 

the ship menu has some tabs but none are really helpful. the only way to find them is to go tediously through every fleet and ship or to rename them and their fleets from the get go.

is it possible to get a tab for finding ships like these?

I put a * or ** in front of the name of my unique ships /fleets.  That way when I sort by name they are always together at the top of the list.
