Help. I need to use desktop x for some Christmas gadgets. A pop-up notice says I do not have permission to install it. What can I do. Please and thank you.  I'm on Win 10.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But from what I read here, desktopX is not compatible with Windows 10: https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/. But, hopefully someone who know better can share some tips.

Thank you.

If i were you, I'd ask Chasbo2 (pm him from the desktop screenshot thread), or maybe RnD. Vad_m just posted a thread, as well so maybe you might be able to pm him...

Hi, the only advice I could give is use the Admin account that comes with Win10. I had to do that to get Object Dock to install on Win10 and Win11. If you have the Admin account active you can practically install just about anything so be careful.
