ObjectDock vs Tab Launchpad

Are they similar

It seems to me that your “ObjectDock” is the modern version of “Tab Launchpad”. Is that correct ?

On my Windows-10 PC I’m still using “Tab Launchpad” , Version 1.1.0, Copyright 1997-2003, that I already used on Windows XP (If I’m not mistaken).

I even used the original version, made for OS/2!

The program still works fine and does what it is supposed to do, however, there is one problem, in that it starts up very, very slowly if I start the PC.

Once “it’s there”, all is fine.

Is ObjectDock better by starting fast and does it run under Windows-10?

Just FYI: Another old Stardock program that I still use is “ControlCenter”, Version 1.5.0,Copyright 1997-2001. Very comfortable to have several virtual screens, jumping or moving programs (= windows) from from one to the other.

Is the current, modern version, any better ?

If ObjectDock is similar to Tab Launchpadstarts fast, I’ll buy it, so I hope to get an answer from you.

Thank you very much, Klaas Wijchman

Hello,

Actually, ObjectDock is not compatible on Windows 10 and currently there is no new plan to develop it further. From my own experience, I currently have Object Dock running on my Windows 10 setup and it working fine. But, we did got lots of thread talking about its issues. So it may or may not work on your system. You can use the 30 days free trial and see if it work for you before decide to purchase it. https://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/download

Thank you.
