Start11 V2

For someone to be able to help you, the full version of Windows is needed (use winver.exe) and what version of Start 11 do you have installed?

Have you perhaps installed a tool like Explorer patcher in the past?

Start11 shouldn't be causing such issues.

I have not installed anything like explorer patcher. Even then, everything except Start11 is still running at start up, without issue.

Windows version is Home, 21H2, OS Build 22000.2176

any other suggestions as to whether V2 may or may not help correct this issue or how to ensure Start11 actually starts at startup?

Windows update has no updates to apply, nor are there any optional updates. Windows is saying it is up to date.

This was an interesting problem so I looked some things up for you. First off, the "21" in 21h2 signifies the your version of Windows 11 is from 2021. It does seem that Microsoft may have put holds on a few devices due to certain driver or compatibility errors. It is hard to say why exactly your pc won't update to the 2022 update or the 2023 update.

I have seen people get around this issue by using Windows 11 current version iso (Link) off of Microsofts site to update their pc that way. If you go this route just make sure to back up your data and potentially go back to 21h2 if there is in fact a deal breaking compatibility issue.

I suspect that your issue is that not a lot of software is currently being tested on the 21h2 version of Windows 11 as it is very uncommon in 2023

I'm having this problem also, it started happenning after updating to 23H2 - Build 22631.2506 so Start11 definitely needs updating.

I had this problem way back with Start8 after a mojor windows update

I have downloaded a copy from the account area reinstalled, unistalled, installed and stalled, rebooted several times between installs, updated my graphics drivers and ran SFC!!

This is a clean install of Windows 11 23H2

Is there a possibility to add a custom delay to resync the icons to center? So if i open a new app, the resync of the items to center is immediately. I want to set a custom delay of x ms (for example 500ms). 

Right now, I am in trial period, but i would buy Start11 if this feature is available. 

The option to enable "Center icons" is available under Taskbar / How would you like your tasbar configured / Center aligned.

Can I ask the reason you would find the delay useful?

Using with 7+ Taskbar Tweaker  i can make an app (with multiple instances) to make it using icons but when i hover on the app icon in the taskbar is expanding automatically (i mean same icon + text like --> [Icon App] Text Icon App [Icon App] Text Icon App) And when i don't hover the icon is looking like --> [Icon App] 

[Icon App] - is the icon in the taskbar.

The problem is when I hover over the icon without delay, the icons immediately rearrange and move away from mouse.  I can fix this using TaskbarX (https://chrisandriessen.nl/taskbarx) but i like to avoid installing lots of apps on my computer.

So without Hover taskbar: [AppIcon1] [AppIcon2] [AppIcon3-Multiple]

With hover on [AppIcon3-Multiple] --> [AppIcon1] [AppIcon2] [AppIcon3] TextAppIcon3 [AppIcon3] TextAppIcon3

And delay is a must.
