With the Start11 Release Preview 2.02, we are creating this thread so that users can report any observed issues.  

Obtaining the product

Object Desktop members can get the release from within Object Desktop Manager 

Individual purchases (as well as Object Desktop Members) can also be obtained from your account page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products

Reporting an issue

Please include the following for anything found:

  • Exact Windows version \ build (winver.exe)

  • Detailed steps to recreate the issue seen

  • Screenshots and videos are very helpful.  Videos can be uploaded to a cloud drive service (GoogleDrive, DropBox, OneDrive, YouTube), with a shared link included in your post.  Images can be copied and pasted directly into a post.

  • If there are specific apps that the app does not work (well) with, please note what apps and their exact versions.  If any app is not common, a link to a trial version would be appreciated.

update - It looks like there has been stuttering / freezing issues reported with gtx cards. The rtx cards seem mostly ok except a few of the 20's. It is an NVidia thing.

 

There is a 546.08 hotfix driver now. Not sure, but it sounds like it might fix some things related to what people are describing here?

Because it is the fastest way to locate and fix bugs. If you want to beta test w/o paying you can always use the trial version. Not to mention once you pay for it you still get the final release version as well w/o paying again.

Hi Sean has anyone looked into the issue with systray repaint (recreate) when moving a window to another monitor? I did a video of it but not sure if anyone has seen it yet.

Confirmed opening pages on per desktop basis does work now.

Thank you very much now I have to completely restructure my entire menu : )

One thing I would like to see is the ability to create an "All desktops" group or at the very least a means of Creating a duplicate group to other pages. "Copy this group to page ..." and/or "Copy this group to a new page"

I have v1 and now purchased the v2 upgrade. What steps to follow in order not to loose the current settings - as I dont want to redo the whole thing again. Windows 11 user.

You should be able to install V2 on top of V1. You layout will remain.

Hi,

so far I like v2, thank you! 1 question, what do I have to do to make the sub menu look the same color as the main one? See picture, I want to change black background to the same greyish opacity style as the main where "Windows Tools" are.
