A very simple question.

When submitting a wall, is the author's comments box HTML enabled? If not, how does one create links and new paragraphs without HTML? Thanks a lot!

just type in the link make sure h t t p : / / is in front withouth spaces

for a line break type in the arrow pointing left on the key with the comma the letters br and the arrow pointing right on the key with the period

So it is in fact HTML enabled, because what you're describing sounds like HTML...

like HI! would be HI! in bold.

Great..another question...in order to edit messages in the message board posts, does one need to be a higher ranked user?

Its not html enabled, but a couple of commands work there. More work here in the messageboards.
