Skip Idle shipyard turn?

Hi! Is there a way to end a turn with an idle shipyard? I find myself building ships I don't want or need at the moment and spending money because whenever I try to end the turn I just get thrown into the build ship interface. I saw some answers to this for GC3, but the suggestions I've found don't apply to 4. Thank you!

I am not sure, but I build star base modules when I don't want to build ships.

Or you could que a bunch of treasure hunting missions.

Not a bad idea, but it still doesn't solve when you just not want to build something at all.

Ive been seeing more and more similar requests, what would folks thoughts be on a second hard end button, that would end the turn no matter what else was available?

not want to build something at all.

 I get it.

I would also like the ability to 'not' fill all the policy slots. There are times (early/mid game) when you may be forced to use a policy that has a negative effect because you can't proceed without all policy slots used. Like needing to use a policy that buffs production but also raises pollution.

the ability to 'not' fill all the policy slots

Here is an example:

Coerced Colonization has -15% approval

Land Exploitation has +30% pollution

Shoddy Construction has +300% maintenance costs

I would rather not use any of them.
