Windows appear off screen and cant be brought back visible

from Stardock Forums

With Groupy 2 enabled on Windows 10.

Start a command prompt (for example - also happens with other apps) and the window is created but not visible on the desktop.

All attempts to make command prompt window visible fail e.g. using cascade windows

Close all command prompts from task bar

Disable groupy from groupy app

Start command prompt - appears as normal.

Try setting a custom position for the Command Prompt window.

I get this issue for a lot of different windows, not just the command prompt. For example starting Oracle Virtual Box.

Edition Windows 10 Enterprise

Version 22H2

Installed on ‎8/‎29/‎2023

OS build 19045.3570

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19052.1000.0

I have to disable and reboot to get rid of the issue.

I have two monitors connected to a DELL docking station.

I had a similar issue some time ago if memory serves the fix for me was to do a clean reinstall. It hasn't happened since.
