Unable to Research Technologies in Galactic Civilizations III

from GalCiv3 Forums

I am facing issue to research any new technologies in the game. No matter how much research points I accumulate, the technology tree remains locked for me. I've tried starting a new game, verifying the game files through Steam, and even reinstalling the game, but the problem persists.

There are several Tech lines that require you to select certain traits or abilities.

Mouseing over your choices will tell you the various groups available.
