Problem with tabs integration into title bar

Hello. I updated a few days ago to Groupy 2.1 and I'm having a problem with tabs not integrating into title bar.

I think I'm using the right preferences as shown below

What does it mean by ''custom title bars''? I don't recall changing something that has to do with title bar.

Can someone please?

Thanks in advance

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try turn this option on.

Not really sure, which area you see Custom title bars?

Thanks

Thanks for helping.
I'm seeing this ''custom title bar' in general tab in settings. Check the underlined text below.

The option you suggested is already the same as shown from you

Thanks in advance!

I believe, the "Custom title bar" there is referring to some application that introduce their own design titlebar. Which is not Standard Microsoft Titlebar. As for your not integrated problem. Please try, uninstall Groupy 2. Reboot immediately after uninstall (important). Reinstall Groupy, try to use the latest version Groupy 2.11 beta download from your product account page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Reboot again after the installation finished. Retest it and report back.

Thank you,

Hello again.

I've unistalled 2.1 and rebooted, then install the latest beta Groupy2_2.1.1.1-j88-Setup_sd and rebooted again...

Logged back in and but the problem persists...
Anything else to try?

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Have you altered your Windows install to alter explorer in anyway?

The only that I altered is to Bypass Windows 11's TPM, CPU and RAM Requirements.
I don't remember anything else.

Did you find a solution? I have the same issue? Also are you participating in the Windows Insider Program? I think it might be related. And deleting some of the updates might help too.

It looks like the OS has been altered to put older files in place as explorer should be showing native tabs and it is not.

This is confusing Groupy so it is assuming tabs cannot be integrated.

I have been using Groupy v1 for four years. Started from Win10 and updated to Win11 in August 2022. One day on November 2022 I unistalled groupy and tried the ViveTool solution for 10 minutes. Then unistalled it and installed Groupy  again.
This may be the culprit.

Isn't there a solution to revert Explorer without reinstalling Windows?

Maybe try this,

Please try the following:

-For Win8/10 Users: Open the Start Screen, and type 'cmd'. Right-click on the search result and select 'Run as administrator' from below.

-For 7 Users: click Start, in the start search field type 'cmd'. Right-click on the search result and select 'Run as administrator'.

-Type: sfc /scannow

-Wait for the scan to complete (this can take several minutes)

If the SFC finds errors, but cannot fix them, please also run the following command in the same command prompt window:

dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

The above command should assist with replacing any damaged or problematic system files. Please note, however, since it may require restoring certain files, this process can take some time and you will need to be patient until it has completed.

Please let me know whether this resolves your problem or if you have any additional questions.
