Couple Things

"Neutrion Emitter" - Is this supposed to be Neutron Emitter, or Neutrino Emitter? It's also listed under enhanced kinetic when the damage type is beam.

Gauss Cannon - Listed damage makes this look like a regular cannon, but slightly heavier. What's the benefit?

Helios Rockets - Also listed under enhanced kinetic when damage type is missile.

Goodwill always defects, and killing it seems to result in a crash.

This save is two turns away from killing Goodwilll: https://1drv.ms/u/s!ArDNjmKorAWXhoBcXOfC32hQ8FKFVA?e=1F2ghC

Thanks for the save game.  I'm not able to reproduce the crash in your save game.  Is there any additional info that you provide other than just killing the goodwill?

Sorry about that, I should have been more specific. Killing the Goodwill, for me, results in a crash at the end of the turn. So, I kill the Goodwill, play out the rest of the turn and end it, and then the game crashes before the next turn starts.

The Goodwill defecting is supposed to be fixed in the 1.66 update.

Gypsy,

Kernwaffen posted pretty close to when 1.66 went out.

Kernwaffen,

Thank you for the additional info.  I'm testing in 1.66 and not seeing the crash even after passing a couple of turns.  Can you verify that your client has patched you to v1.66 and then let me know if it still crashes for you?

So the game was begun under 1.65, and my client looks like it just patched itself to 1.66. I did a sanity check, and skipped all ship movement, and held all other decisions constant. It still crashes the turn following me killing the Goodwill, and works normally if I don't. Here's the most recent save I tested on: https://1drv.ms/u/s!ArDNjmKorAWXhoBndiNlTERy4E6z2Q?e=7ai6x7

If the ship no longer defects in 1.66, it's probably no big deal, and I'm sorry for wasting time. Just weird that it's so consistent for me.

That is because the "fix" will not take place until you start a new game in the 1.66 version.
