It's time to add LAN

I get that some game companies don't want to add LAN support for fear of piracy. But the time has come to add it. The developers have shifted their focus to other games, and the recent server outage meant I couldn't play multiplayer with friends. If the developer can't guarantee server functionality, it's time to let people use LAN and other peer to peer multiplayer without requiring stardock servers. This will create a better user experience and ensure the games longevity long into the future.
