Big fan of first game, loved playing the advent. I just downloaded the game, went to single player and can only select tec or random. Where is the other factions for single player?

First, thank you for the your support. Right now we are focused on ensuring that each faction is in as close to a perfect state as possible before introducing the next. Currently we are finalizing TEC, with Vasari on the horizon. We want to ensure the overall experience to be a marked improvement over the first game, and appreciate your patience as content updates.
It's hard to pick man! On one side you have TEC and in the other side you have TEC, I cannot even talk about the philosophical implications!
Hope they release vasari soon!
Vasari are for now confirmed to come in Fall 2023, but that's a bit vague of course. Keep an eye out for more precise dates I guess 
The game is just in an alpha state currently (since last update, before that it was a technical preview). This is luckily how Ironclad has always done it, and Stardock very often as well, and so far the devs have been great in accepting and implementing feedback, so hopefully you can give that as well
Vasari is the faction I most enjoyed playing in the first Sins.
I'm looking forward to playing with them again, counting down the days!
