Virtual Desktops and Taskbar

Start 11 V1.45, Win11

When switching Virtual Desktops, the Start11 Taskbar shows the active apps on the active Desktop only.

In Win 10, the Taskbar showed all active apps of every desktop.
This is what I need.

There must be a setting for this - but I really don't find it.

Where is this setting in Start11?

In Windows the setting is correct:

When NOT using the Start11 Taskbar, the behavior is as wanted and correct.

Must be a bug in Start11?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I believe, if you want all active app appear on all desktop. You will need to disable "Enhance taskbar" option.

Thanks

You must be joking...
If I disable it, then I have the Win11 taskbar without Start11 improvements.

Don't you think it should be possible for Start11 to do the same?
In any case, this should be improved.

Sounds promising.

It would be good to have this, and if, then I'm ready to order some Start11.

In the meantime I gave a well known other software a try.
They provide a taskbar that simply works as expected.
This is an immediate 'solution' for me.

I would still prefer Start11, but the taskbar issue is a show stopper.

Same as before, this basic functionality isn't there - Start11 taskbar is still not useful.
Disappointing.

I don't get it:
It must be MORE effort to populate the taskbar depending on the current virtual desktop than to simply show all items.

You would think, but unfortunately the windows get hidden because they are marked as hidden in the same way some other apps are.  Detecting the reason why the window is hidden is the problem.  You wouldn't want a whole pile of extra windows showing that you shouldn't see at all.

Has there been any progress on this issue? This is a dealbreaker for me too.
