I can download just fine. Maybe the problem lies at your end? Have you tried logging out, killing your cookies, then logging back in?

just logged out and deleted cookies, it still doesn't work. I'm fairly sure I haven't hit my limit because I haven't really gotten that much stuff.

Judging by your name time is not a limit to you. Go back in time and snag those skins you want. Of course you can't get the new ones

Steve, click on your user name and tell me how many Kbytes you've downloaded...

ask an admin and they can tel youexactly what you have downloaded to the byte...

If you haven't hit the limit, then, try and figure out whats happening...

Yes. Do the right click 'save target as' download, then double click the downloaded file. That should install it.

It still won't work. It downloads as a compressed folder, and I don't know how to unzip it. I tried opening it with windowblinds, but nothing happens. >

If you are running WindowsXP it has Zip built into it and you can right click on the file and tell it to expand, then double click on the actual skin, iptheme, dxtheme and so on and the respective program will install it...

there is no expand option on the right click menu. It says open, open with, scan with norton, send to, cut, copy, create shortcut, delete rename, properties. I have the file saved to my documents, is this causing the problem?

Install it and try again. And make sure you have the necessary software to run those files.

Right click, open with, point to: C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds\wbload.exe

Do yall think I should just reinstall windowblinds and try again? this would be a last resort, because I might lose the skins I currently have, and I don't think I could live with the normal xp.BTW, none of the above methods worked.

I used windows explorer and looked in the folders for the skins that wouldnt work and there was nothing in them. but when I looked in the other skin folders, there was plenty in them. Why did this have to happen to me?

One thing I would do is to remove the empty folders. Sometimes when you download an updated skin and a folder is already there, then it won't show up as a newly downloaded skin. If a skin is based on another skin and it is not done correctly, the new skin (even if it has a different name) will download and not show up, in my experience.

If you do re-install, you can move the folders with skins in them into another folder, to ensure that you will retain them.
