This is excellent.  Thank you.  I'm a owner of the orig. GCIV and supernova on epic, but would prefer to have it on Steam.

Thanks for this. I'll be very happy to pay 16 bucks on Steam to continue to support the devs.

Awesome, especially since Steam is usually better for managing betas (instead of having to download a separate build on Epic).

Nice work Frogboy / Draginol / whateveryoucallyourself

I don't really mind whether it's on Steam or Epic tbh but a larger community of players means more $ for Stardock, and hopefully more spent on development of a game with huge potential.

In the back of my mind I've always been afraid of the Epic Games store dying a quick death ... I don't know how they sustain it when it's unprofitable!

What about just getting a steam key to transfer the base game to Steam, and THEN if one wanted to, buy the Supernova update on steam?

The base version in Steam IS Supernova, not the original release on Epic.

That' s right - but why shouldn't the original release be transferable to steam via steam key also? That's what I was trying to convey!

You can already do that. If you own the copy on Epic you can buy the expansion on Steam for $15.

Because the original version doesn't exist on Steam and likely never will.  Only the Supernova version exists on Steam.

So if I understand, the game I purchased for testing, which became the basic game only available through Epic, is not available to Steam. So to play the game I tested on my preferred platform -- Steam. Now, to be able to play I either need to purchase the new version or deal with Epic's constant bombardment of advertising games I have no interest in or log in every time I feel like playing yours.

Thanks for the information. This is likely the last Stardock product I will invest in.

Just redeemed my steam key.  I know alot of people had issues with Epic (it didn't bother me, only switched to steam for cloud saves) but I think SD deserve credit for making the key transfer possible, they were under no obligation to do so.

Thanks Guys.

I got my Steam key and everything went fine. Much appreciated for the easy transition and inexpensive upgrade to Supernova.

Thank you for the opportunity to transfer the game to steam. It turned out)) Everyone is looking forward to the translation into other languages. Maybe it’s worth posting them for the impatient as a mod on Steam or directly in the game itself? (which can be turned off at any time if something happens) I think many would say thanks for at least some kind of translation, such as resources or characteristics of characters, buildings.

I don't think I will ever get tired of saying thank you for this.   When a company does something for clients at whatever their effort and no cost to the user, that's something.
