*** RELEASED 4/25/2023 ***

One of my favorite changes in GC4 was the fact that a lot of the techs provide free ships when you unlock them. It definitely sped up the early game and was a fun reward for research. This update brings some of those changes to GC3. Please check it out and let me know what you think.

Fixes

  • Typo fixes.
  • Fixed some invalid prereqs on some of the MegaEvents.

Balance

  • Researching Spacial Manipulation provides a free Stellar Architect. (req: retribution)
  • Researching Defense Systems provides a free Defender ship. (req: Crusade or later)
  • Researching Xeno Research unlocks a free Freighter. (req: Crusade or later)

I have played 1600+ hours of GCIII. But since the last update can no longer launch GCIII. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared down load caches, run as administrator, When I verify I am told one file needs to be reacquired, then nothing. It does not reacquire. All I get now is the Start Menu then nothing, very frustrating. (I have been running Windows 10 for years).
