Function to group tasks
Is there a product, that allows the user to group tasks in the taskbar freely, not only those of the same program? If not, this is a function that I would suggest for start11.

Hello,
I believe there is no such option in Start11 or any other Stardock product. I have forward your request to the Stardock Support Team for their review and recommendations. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We really do appreciate your feedback, Thanks

Thank you for your answer! I am new to the forum. Do we normally get any update on whether the function will be implemented or not? Or do I just have to check updates for start11 and hope?
Maybe I am too early and the process takes longer ...
It is up to Dev and Support to decide if a request get implement or not. Some request actually get implemented, most not. New features usually get announce when Support post new release thread in the forum and it get specify in the Change log list.
Thank you,

What exactly do you mean by grouping tasks in the taskbar?
Without Start11 Windows does this with two word documents: https://imgur.com/a/tjPJFFD
Start11 (I think you call it "combination" and not grouping) gives you the ability to do this: https://imgur.com/a/igCvRxS
However, now everything is separated. I would like to have the option to "combine" some open word documents and some not. Furthermore, it would be great if this would not only be possible with word but also with other programms (have a chrome window and two word documents and a pdf-viewer in one "task-group" and another separated word document ...)
Basically what you can do with Groupy, but limited to the taskbar (so that you can open them simultaneously and they are - as a window - not grouped)
