I thought I'd post this here, instead of starting a new topic, since the topic is the same. I believe there's some rating abuse going on with regards to this skin. It's not right to rate a skin just to bring down the skinners rating. Surely, this skin deserves better than a 1 rating. I hope it was a joke. I think this is an abuse of rating privileges. I'll wait for an administrator to comment before I post a new thread about it.

Well, it may be a little harsh, but he is entitled to his own opinion. He didn't say anything personally attacking the artist or anything else.. I do agree that it's pretty ridiculous to give a 1 just because you don't like the colors..

I don't know how the Admins will fell about this but I don't think he was overly rude in his comments.

Just my 'opinion', take it or leave it, it's all the same to me..

As much as it bugs me to have someone give me a 1 I have to say I am impressed that he said so openly. I can live with that.

A "1" is out of line.  Ratings need to be based on more than just "taste".  trust me, if it were all based on the taste of the admins, then ratings wouldn't quite look the same

When you rate a skin, you should look at both the creative and the technical aspects.  It may be ugly to you (which would lower its score) but if it functions well as a skin, then it still should be a "5".

Personal taste is not the only thing that should come into play when rating any art.  You always need to keep in mind the technical side of things.  Also, it's best to run a skin before giving it a rating.

I think this skin suite is phenomenal. Its definitely the best holiday theme I have seen and wanted to use. My kids were drooling over this when I showed it to them in progress lol.
