Known issues
While we appreciate all feedback, please remember that we offer no official support for beta \ preview \ developer channel versions of Windows. If you report issues while in any of those early release channels, you should not expect them to be addressed unless it still exists in a retail version of Windows.

Hallo,
is it normal that the "calendar pop up" stays at the bottom even if I selected that the taskbar should be on the uper edge?

That normal. They cant change it since its hard-coded by Microsoft. Its why you dont see left/right taskbar options as well since its not codded under windows 11.
After installing 1.43 the start icon and the whole notification area is rendered too low. I tried uninstall and clean reinstall with the same result.

Does your windows taskbar settings menu offer you touch optimized taskbar?
What is your hardware and what version of Windows exactly are you using?
Please 2 requests again in Windows 10 style:
1) Drag icon from start menu to desktop
2) Ability to change the default size of pinned icons. No matter what I select within the configuration options, it always pins 'Medium'
Yes, touch enabled is available. I tried to check/uncheck it; no difference.
It's Surface Laptop 3 (AMD version):
Processor AMD Ryzen 7 Microsoft Surface (R) Edition 2.30 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (14.0 GB usable)
Edition Windows 11 Pro
Version 22H2
Installed on 11/12/2022
OS build 22621.1485
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22639.1000.0
Please, let me know if you need anything else.
David.
On Surface Pro 7, Win Build 22621.1413, when in tablet mode, a swipe up on the tablet taskbar always opens the stock Win11 start menu. Tapping the Windows icon does load the Start11 start menu. Is there a way to either make no start menu appear on swipe up (just the windows button and the open apps buttons) or make Start11 appear instead of the Win11 start menu?
I am afraid the swipe action is a non standard thing which Start11 isn't aware of currently.
Ino you don't support Insider builds but something broke taskbar transparency again either the latest Win 11 build or V1.43
both updated and solid taskbar even tho you can change % nothing happens

Latest build from the Beta channel 22624.1546. I updated to that build and V1.43 this morning.
There was a tickbox blur one I unticked in taskbar transparency settings that took it from solid back to almost invisible where the slider worked

It sounds like you may have set the OS to disable transparency effects in Windows settings? That will force all blurs to solid.

Thx will check and update thread
Can you guys add language options?
The quality of the translation in my native language is poor and I'd rather use English but there is no option to change the language.
Which language are you using as that's a concern?
You could stop the translation and switch to English by deleting the files in the lang sub folder where Start11 is installed.

Checked and you was correct Neil haven’t a clue how the windows settings were turned off but all sorted now

I have the same issue. I first thought it was due to a recent Windows update, but it was still there after I removed it.
Uninstalled Start11, and the issue disappeared.
Reinstalled Start11, and started looking for this issue online. Something kind of related has happened previously. User found that switching off Enhanced Taskbar helped his problem. I did the same, and now the clock, etc, are as they should be. However, this now means being stuck with medium taskbar size.
Problem only started following recent Start11 update.

Restarting Explorer fixes the issue temporarily.

Strange behaviors in taskbar and title bar after waking the laptop, occurs in external monitor.
1. The taskbar is not shown and a blank space is show at the bottom of the screen that resembles the taskbar. If the app is minimized then the taskbar appears but covers the title bar. Shown in 2 below. Also applications cannot be resized until an explorer restart.

2. Taskbar covers title bars.

Same issue as a few others on a touch enabled W11 device. In my case, specs are:
This device has very little installed (OS for email/web browsing). The issue with the offset start button/system tray occurred after the latest upgrade to Start 11. Restarting Explorer from the Start 11 interface doesn't fix the issue at all. I've gone so far as to uninstall, remove settings, cleared folders/paths (for Stardock), and reinstalled (with reboots in between steps) but still have the same issue.

If you change the height of the taskbar manually, does it resolve it? If so and If you then put it back to the lower height, does it stay fixed?

Unfortunately it doesn't. Tried this before and after the re-install of Start11.
