Poor Performance

I am running Windows 11 on this computer fully updated.  I am running it on a laptop(gigabyte aero 15x yd) and it has a 3080 laptop gpu.  I also have it connected to my eGPU that has a desktop 3080.  So plenty of horse power.  32 gigs of ram.

 

When I try to use an animated background on either screen that screen becomes slow and almost impossible to use the desktop.

Need full version numbers. Something like this: Windows 11 22H2 (OS Build 22621.1413). Anyway, Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
