Are there any useful themes?

I'm using Window Blinds with a modified Aero 8 Theme. This seems to be the most useful option for me, but still is designed for Windows 7 and has some flaws with newer versions.

However I was not able to find any uther useful theme for Window Blinds. Either not all fonts are readable on every place or the buttons for closing moving the Window are not reachable as well as they are with the standard configuration. Or the gaps beteween the clickable fields are too big, or the skin looks horrible anyway.

I just would like something simple that replaces all white colors with something light grey (or maybe brown), so I'd like something like this: https://vsthemes.org/en/themes/windows11/54624-braun23.html

Also the following example shows some other problems: I set all colors to grey, still the window itself is in white. Also setting the color does not work for the Editor on Windows 11 (with Window Blinds 11), there also the color still remains white.

Another Problem: When pressing Alt+Print I get a part of the background also and not just the active window only (like in this example here also).

I did find this one: https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/windowblinds/9624/

Seems to be useful except for some black font on dark gray (like "devices and drives" in the screenshot).

That black font is not changeable on windows 10/11. Some things are hard coded and no way around them.

Most themes you will find for Windows 11 through Ms style hacking are all very basic due to the fact that many elements cannot be changed (every single one of them look like mac clones). Microsoft has slowly been converting the ui over to the new stuff they developed where we are unable to modify them easily or at all.

There are no true fully dark mode themes yet for Windows due to Microsoft wanting compatibility for older applications.

Precisely.

Ok, I was happy to soon...

The current Themes I used either miss the window buttons (see 1st screenshot), the other one does not even work well with the terminal window (scroll bar on the left covering the font) or makes software like XVI32 in this case unusable (see the HEX-Editor in the Background).

I didn't find a single Theme that just works fine.

Windowblinds skins are mainly designed to skin the operating system itself web75, it would be virtually impossible to skin every single 3rd party application on the market. You should go into Settings, Per Application area on Windowblinds and exclude applications that have issues.

But do we agree that the included Terminal window is a very simple thing that should just work?

That would depend upon how the Terminal window was programmed.

Ok, but a skin that already fails on simple included features makes things more complicated than easier.
It might not be the fault of the Developers, but it's no big use this way. :(
