A feature I would like to see would be temporary planet/asteroid gravity well mergings. For example two or more planets/asteroids come close enough together that they create a single gravity well during their normal orbits.
Curious, do you also imagine these wells separating over time as their orbits continue?
Oh man, that would definately change the Meta in new crazy ways.
not sure if its possible to do, but that could get pretty crazy imagine 2 heavily fortified gwells with Starbases merging and having 1 giant cluster fudge of chaos ensue.
It its possible, and done, I think it should be togglable in the options like orbiting gwells are now.
This sounds pretty epic. Is it feasible, I don't know but it could be a lot of fun. Two planets temporarily merge into the same gravity well. Imagine both are decked with defenses, starbases, and fleets and a battle of the ages ensues.
