Is Icon Packager 10 is compatible with Windows 11?

Not Fully. Its super finicky, It does change some things though. I only use it to change the live folder front image to change the look of them.

It's supported by W7, W8 and W10 per Stardock. You asked if it's compatable with W11. With W11 it's inconsistent at best.

Hopefully it will be updated to make it IconPackager11.

As a side note another valuable OD Program that urgently needs some programmer-love. This is the first OD prog I install on my personal new machines for years.

Object Desktop.

Object desktop is too much you only need Icon Packager and maybe Windows Blind, all the rest are useless, except if you like some specific stuff like fence ( 🤢🤮 ) or the other thing that makes your PC look like a Mac  ( 🤮🤮🤢🤢). Why will I install a suite of 10 software when I only need 2 but its me everyone like different things.

That might be so, but don't apply the default Windows theme ever again or uninstall IP.

You didn't get what I wanted to say, but that is okay. Also You speak for Yourself. I am a Object Desktop subscriber for 21 years now. As soon as you use 2 of the apps it calculates well.

Iconpackager 10 Does NOT work properly on Windows 11. Live Folders Do NOT work on Windows 11 and if you want to build an IconPackage with IconPackager 10 on Windows 11 , you will find that some icons are NOT placed properly. This all being the case , then NO  , IconPackager 10 does NOT work properly on Windows 11. I'm also not just some RANDOM user here.

Check here please for compatibility list by Stardock. And notice Stardock still list IconPackager under TBD: https://forums.stardock.com/505717/stardock-app-compatibility

Thank you,

Could You ask Sean for an update? Would be great and very welcomed.

Fully Compatible or not... -As things are at the moment, I for one think it's better than Nothing having most of the Icons somewhat skinned. -An update is of course more than welcome, but... as I said, It's better than nothing. |-)

My 2 cents.

I was told by Brad in a another topic, not to use it as it would cause lots of problems. I only added to said topic to say my edition works fine.(It Was Already Installed before i seen the topic as it is one of my go to programs for any new Windows installation) That has not changed as i am using it now. I did uninstall it when Brad posted, but went back to it after a short time with no issues.

That said, Stardock understands there products better than any one of us, i do not doubt this can give Nightmares to loads of users, and we should have an updated edition asap (Hopefully).

I am with neone6, i will take something over nothing most of the time.
