New windows 11 update version bugged for start11

So I updated windows 11 just now because there was a new update but in the new update they've added some weird stuff like font changes and other stuff and now the Search, Windows 11 icon and the volume, internet, time are all reverted back to big even though start11 is on small taskbar. My icons are still small like they used to be but I don't know if they will update start11 to fix this

As you can see below the buttons go under my screen half way through, please fix it!

That looks ugly. Stardock will likely have to update start 11 to incorporate Windows new "moments 2" features

In the mean time you can press the "go back" button in Windows update "advanced options" and wait to update Windows 11 once stardock releases a fix

Edit it looks like there is a fix here

The newest Windows update actually bricked my PC.  Couldn't boot at all and had to do a complete reinstall of Windows.  Apparently there is a bug in the newest update that does this.  It's been reported and Microsoft has it as part of their "known issue" list.

I have not had that issue, but a problem I faced is:

(1) When I use ctrl alt delete I get the correct screen, but whatever I click nothing works, it doesn't even highlight the button pressed.

After some time if I leave it, what I pressed works. Other wise all I can do is press Esc to get out of it.

(2) When I try to update Start 11 when I get the user control dialogue box I have the same issue, nothing works.

If I press yes it does not highlight and if I press then wait the dialogue box eventually just closes and no update is done. It is the same on other program updates.

* I cannot go back to previous update as I have had a few updates since it happened, I hoped each update would fix it.

I have reinstalled win 11 and it has fixed the issue, but I have not installed Start 11 as If I have the same issee I may not be able to use a restore point.

It may not be a Start 11 issue, but I am not prepared to take the risk atm.

I will check the start 11 updates and maybe the latest version will sort this but, if it is actually a Start 11 issue.

It is a Windows issue though, where MS do not cater the their customers wants and needs and make changes to try and make us conform the how they want things. The same sort of thing used to happen to Taskbar Tweaker in win 10 after every win update.

If MS wants everyone to eventually use another OS, they are going about it the right way.

This does not seem like something that Start11 would impact.

Start11 is not one of the UI customisation apps mentioned.

If your pc will not boot it will be nothing to do with Start11.

There is a risk with all windows updates that installation goes wrong and your pc cannot boot.  Nothing to do with Start11 however.

Generally if your pc cannot boot at all then no software installed is the cause unless it is drivers as the software wouldn't even be starting up until you login.
