Start11 is showing Icons from Programs which are not installed, how do i get rid of them?

In the startmenu of  Start11, there are programs shown which are uninstalled. Why is Start11 showing those? They are shown as

ms-resource:AppName. They are not visible on the original Windows startmenu. Can this be fixed?

Can you say which apps they were and do they continue to show after a reboot?

[deleted] - Sorry, I realize now that you're looking at the All Programs list, not the Quick Access list.  (I also see that I too have an orphan link listed in there.)

I also have a ghost menu item in Start11 which is not there in regular Windows start menu.

Where are the Start11 menu items stored ?

The easiest way to get rid of these apps in the All Apps menu is to right-click the app, select More, and then Hide from apps.

The items come from the OS apps list.

You can view this by running shell:AppsFolder from the run dialog
