It's a real shame how people new to the site get pounced on. Is there any wonder they never post again.

Imagine a new experience of the internet, a messageboard, a foreign language etc and the first thing that happens is you get your head bitten off.

There was a thread a few weeks ago where a person was asking about some dock icons. This was this persons first post and when I looked at it, it had about dozen posts all from people who were just being plain rude or unhelpful. Understandably the thread creator was a bit taken aback by the reaction from some of the replies and started to attack back. Before it became really out of hand i intervened with some help for the guy and some links to the PNG's he wanted. This bought the nonesense and the thread back on track and the guy found what he wanted and he was most appreciative with the comments he left.

There are a lot of people that visit these boards and many of them are totally new to skinning. If everyone bears this in mind and keeps a civil tongue in their head perhaps we can get rid of the notion that Wincustomize is a "closed shop". And if you don't believe this notion exists then you need to wake up. So come on guys.........just play nice, eh....... and treat people exactly how you would like to be treated yourself.
