Does WindowBlinds Affect Performance

Hi,

I'm a long time , very happy StartMenu user. I'm using Win 11 and I'm not at all happy with the look and feel of the windows, etc. I'm considering WiondowBlinds. My main concern is whether it has any affect on performance, even a very small one. If not, can you explain how it works to avoid a performance hit?

Thanks!

No software that loads in memory has zero impact on system performance.  It takes up memory it has to monitor for program calls, keystrokes, and drive access.  So any and all running software uses system resources.

That said, WB is very efficient it just needs a few seconds to load a theme then all is well, and its impact is usually not noticed at all.

You should give it a try.

Your reply aligns with my own thinking. I'm using a very fast system with a lot of memory. I'm going to give WB a try.

Thanks!

  • WB10 has almost zero impact on performance so probably WB11 does the same.
