Individual purchases (as well as Object Desktop Members) can also be obtained from your account page:

Reporting an issue:

Please include the following for anything found:

  • Exact Windows version \ build (winver.exe)

  • Detailed steps to recreate the issue seen

  • Screenshots and videos are very helpful.  Videos can be uploaded to a cloud drive service (GoogleDrive, DropBox, OneDrive, YouTube), and links included in your post.  Images can be directly added.

Known issues

While we appreciate all feedback, please remember that we offer no official support for beta \ preview \ developer channel versions of Windows. If you report issues while in any of those early release channels, you should not expect them to be addressed unless it still exists in a retail version of Windows.

I know you said you do not officially support Windows Insider builds, but the new beta fixed the issue 1.36 had with the most recent taskbar updates, so I wanted to say thank you regardless!

bug still exists in 1.37 :(

edit: am i seeing a pattern here ? looks like its always funky around the language selection area... (icons are double overlayed over it)

edit #2: i've now disabled language bar in tray to see if it have any effect on the issue, will update soon.

The font fuzziness on the 'About' Start11 Configuration page has been fixed.

Specifically the 'Check Now...', 'Deactivate license' and 'Visit website...' Buttons.

Cheers.

Just a note...

Object Desktop would not show the 1.37 Beta download. I had to go to my Product page to get 1.37 Beta.

Object Desktop now wants to replace 1.37 Beta with 1.37 Beta. I have seen this behaviour before with version 1.36.

Cheers.

i do uninstall reboot reinstall on every update hoping for something..

I suggest you take a deeper look at the issue with the language bar ON.

i disabled it and so far i didnt encounter the issue, and if u look on all my screenshots, its the language bar area all the time.

i will keep on updating regarding this issue. for now i can live without the language bar :)

can confirm, issue disappeared ever since i disabled the language bar from the tray. the the bug is there somewhere :)

I never enabled the language bar and I had this issue in 1.36.

Just installed 1.37 and will have a look how it behaves now ...

Do you have the language bar enabled?

If not can you uninstall Start11, reboot and reinstall 1.37 as it may well be files were not correctly replaced.

Do you have the language bar enabled?

I don't think so, because no language selection is available in the taskbar. So it should be disabled, isn't it?

Will do so as soon as I'm done with "Home Office Day". ;)

Maybe u can add a view to the start11 to show all dll's version or some kind of command that will make a text file to send ?

just to make the uninstall/reinstall statement less of an option ? :)

its starting to sound like "did u try unplug it and plug it back in ?" :D

only love for you guys , i'm sure you will find the bug.

btw, still no issue after disabling the language bar but from the other guys screenshots maybe its also related to the number of icons

cause mine looks like this now :

not much icons

Is it okay, to export registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Start8 to save all settings and import them after reinstallation?

I, too, have been seeing this issue this on 1.36 and 1.37.  It's always the icon to the left of the network icon and the network icon that merge together in my case.   It is never a permanent state eitehr way.

It really looks like it always happens with icons to the left of the network icon.

Here you can see that the icon for Windows Security lies behind the Location icon, and you can see half of the OneDrive icon. Then both icons for Windows Security and OneDrive appear again. Something strange is happening there. 🤔
