"New" Tag in Windows 10 StartMenu

"New" tag bug

Hello, i can't seem to remove the "New" tag on the startmenu when i install a new program/software, is this a bug or is there something i could do? I tried looking all over the app but it seems that there isn't an option to remove it.

I also tried opening the program, from the Win11 Start, and both from the StartMenu of Start11, and it still there, even when restarting its not going away.

I'm not sure if it's this you are referring to. This is a Windows setting, and not a Start 11 setting. This is for Windows 10, but it's basically the same in Windows 11 if you open Settings, Personalization, Start.

Unfortunately this is not it, i have this unchecked too. What i am saying is for the “All Applications” on startmenu. On A-Z, when a new app is installed, a “New” tag is on the app, and won’t disappear.

The "NEW" label in the ALL APPS section has been a feature of Windows 10 and 11 for a while now. It should disappear automatically after a few days. As far as I know, there is no way to turn this feature off. I do know there has been a discussion of this issue on this Forum before and I think in an update to Start11, the "NEW" label was set to disappear after 24 hours.

I will try to wait for a few days, however i am on the latest version and have also bought a license. Its been more than 24 hours but the "new" label is still there. Thank you and i'll reply to this post here soon whether they disappear or not. Thanks!

I have already tried that, unfortunately it does not work, actually i have googled for about an hour before posting here, but to no luck :/
