instead of sins 1, orbital mining / asteroid mining is now a tech (i think stage 2) u need to research at first...

And then it just "happens"? What about systems where you don't have a colony, or don't they exist?

So every planet will yield minerals but the planets themselves you need to upgrade the planet mining and research. Initially level 2 civilian level allows you to have orbital mining.

Very interesting beginning dynamics. Make rushing anything almost impossible.
