Start11 icon size in start menu

Generally, I'm happy with Start 11.  I'm not a fan of Windows 11's approach to the start menu, so I'm using Start11 to emulate the Windows 10 approach.  However, I'd like to tweak the icons.  The "small" button size is fine, but the icon within the button is tiny. If I make the button larger, the icon grows slightly in size, but represents even less of the button's area.  There's too much gray space for my liking.

Is there a way to make the icon within the button larger, so it occupies most of the button?  Or is this a result of the monitor size / resolution (2560X1440) that I'm using?

Turn this on and see if it helps.

Man - I bet I looked at that menu five times, and didn't see that option.  Thanks so much for your help.

I'm having a similar issue where the icons are bugging out and some of them are rendering a lot smaller than they should be.

I don't have the option in your screenshot, has it been removed?

Thanks

This option is only available in the Windows 10 style.

I think a screenshot of what you are seeing would be helpful here.  I suspect the issue may be the group has been set to have small icons as Start11 allows groups to have different icon sizes.

Why are these icons so small? Why isn't "Force icons to use more of the tile area when not a custom tile image" option available for Windows 11 style?

small icons in start menu v2 - windows 11 style

I stopped using Start11 because of this issue a couple of months back and completed forgot about it. I downloaded it again today wondering why I wasn't using Start11 and this reminded me why.

Those icons are small because you told Start11 to use a small icon size (or perhaps tiny)

You can set the icon size from the config window.  It is called Shortcut icons should be sized under advanced options when configuring the menu.  This alters the default size.

You can also right click on a group, pick appearance and then icon style to alter the size for a given group if not using default and also hide the text if you wish.

Right-click on an empty space in the group and:
