Display bug with the first icon of a toolbar.

Display bug with the first icon of a toolbar.

Hello,

I have a display bug with the first icon of a toolbar.

Here is what it looks like.

The display of the icon 1 (in red) is ok, the 2 (in red) not.

I created the toolbar by doing :

Right click on the taskbar, toolbars and New toolbar...

How to solve the problem ?

I thought of moving the search icon, but I don't know how.

I am under windows 10 21H2 with windowblind 11, start11 and Iconpackager (they are up to date)

yes rebooted and same problem.

I may have found a solution (I'll check tonight)

Otherwise another bug among others :

The arrow in the top left corner is strangely positioned upwards in full screen mode. In reduced mode it's better.

Hello,

I found a solution to get around the problem, not very correct but it works.

I start by creating a folder "Barre" and then a sub-folder "I". (The choice of the name "I" is not insignificant)

I put my shortcuts there.

I create my toolbar.

I move it to the right place.

Right click on it and I keep only the title.

Finally I lock the taskbar.

Now with SkinStudio :

I create a font of size 1, named in my case "Mini - Arial".

Then I will apply this font here (see image)

Here is the result.

The icons are a bit off but I don't have anything better.

Thanks to everyone who helped me @basj, @SimplexDesigns etc...

I was actually able to reproduce this issue on my windows 10 machine after installing a fresh copy of Windowblinds 11. Does this on all themes including downloaded ones. It has something to do with the rebar gripper when you lock the taskbar.

1. Under windows 10, right click taskbar and select toolbars> Desktop.

2. Unlock taskbar and grab the toolbar gripper and move it to the far left of the taskbar.

3. Right click toolbar gripper and select Hide text/title.

4. Lock the taskbar. You will see the icons shift left, thus cutting off the first button on the toolbar.

This was under Windows 10 using  Windowblinds10: With & without search enabled.

Under Windows 10 using latest Windowblinds11 you will see the icons shift slightly to the left causing it to get clipped by the search/searchbox mode/taskview buttons.

So WindowBlinds 11 is not fully compatible with windows 10, too bad.

I have other bugs but I hope it's not coming from there too.

I'm running Windowblinds 11 on Windows 10 with no issues - like the vast majority of users. That doesn't mean some may have issues depending on their setup which may be differnet in so many ways. The good thing is that there is a large community here that are willing to try to help you figure out what you come across 24/7.

Or this

Then there are some strange bugs that are hard to fix.

I still have 4 of them, 2 of which I would like to solve.

Sorry for my bad english (i am french), I use an online translator. So I don't know if my sentences have a good meaning or not.
