1024 & 1280. Who uses more?

In looking at DX Themes I have noticed that *most* themes are for reso's of 1280+ and the authors generally say that the only ones using 1024 are people with 15" monitors or laptops.

So, my question is: Of the people using DX Themes, which is the greater number, 1024 or 1280? Has there already been a poll done on this and what was the result. If not, could that be considered for a future poll.

I like the sizes of different things as how it would look in 1024x768 on a 17" CRT monitor or 15" LCD monitor. So I pretty much use that. If I had a bigger monitor I'd have it in a higher resolution to keep the same look.

On my main home machine, 1280x1024, this is perfect to me. I have a 21" monitor here, if I go much lower, things are just huge. I just went down to 800x600 for kicks, and the little green Wincustomize guy at the top is the size of my hand.

On my other desktop machines, 1024x768. On my laptop, it will only go to 800x600. It's killing me. >

Funny, I didn't see many people mentionning 800x600.
Outside of my artist/programer/elite friends, most people I know still use 800x600.
