Testing.

I have noticed that posts are not showing but are being added on to the total number of post in a thread.
So, now you know this is not all in your mind or that your computer has not just taken a break.

Just post once, I will bet that they will all show up later. I wonder how may double, triple posts we will be seeing.

I was just seeing if it was going to post to begin with.

But Fuzzy if you would like a test I am sure that I or someone else could come up with something.

/me stumbles into this thread from the twilight zone....

. I don't know what is happening, but my posts are sometimes going to the first post of very long threads, sometimes somewhere in the middle! And awhile ago, the posts were sorted by author alpha!

***SPOOKY***

/me tiptoes back out into .. the marathon thread? musical vision? or the twilight zone.......

I know, the Marathon is really messed up. I looked at it and was like dang, it's a date mixture.

Yea, thats kinda funny...the musical vision thread perhaps didn't like one of the links so it decided to take the last 40 or so posts and move them to an undisclosed part of the thread. What will happen to them now...no one knows.............

Goodmorphing, I would guess it has something to do with time zones and a bug. This happened on another forum before. The time zones were messed up and a poster's post would wind up before 2 or 3 people above him. You could even hijack a thread with the right time zone

Thanks for the reassurance.....
shucks. I had something to celebrate.....

If one server went offline for a while....power outage...then I assume it'd take time to re-synchronise...

I wondered how suddenly people were psychic, responding to questions before they were asked!

OK, I passed the test. The marathon thread is in alphabetical order instead of number order.

/me hopes it can be fixed

The Fantasyland-Marathon thread is really, really, messed up. Posts all of my posts, and some pages going back are other peoples posts. WC better get the thread fixed before GM and Feline show up! Ahem, Ahem! Hello. >
Reply #20 Top
Actually, I imagine someone turned on a fan up at WC and blew all 471 pages all over the office. And now that someone has to physically pick them all up and put them back into their proper order. Bet it was Jafo too. Now he's going back and checking all the spelling and we'll have to wait and wait and wait. >

...Well, it certianly does make the message board more 'interesting...'

Like a big puzzle.
Actually I'm getting quite a giggle out of all these shenanigans. Just imagine the WC staff all running about and all. Really I do believe someone broke into the servers and shuffled all the msgbd pages together like a deck of cards! >

Hmmmmmmm. Now, I think I'll just go to bed. And no I did not break this Internet thingy so don't blame me.

Grand Raspberries to all and to all a goodnite. Or whatever gets you through the nite. >
