With the WindowBlinds 11 Public Beta 3 release, we are creating this thread so that users can report any observed issues.  

Obtaining WindowBlinds Beta 3

Object Desktop members can get the release from within Object Desktop Manager 

Individual purchases (as well as Object Desktop Members) can also be obtained from your account page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products

Reporting an issue

Please include the following for anything found:

  • Exact Windows version \ build (winver.exe)
  • Detailed steps to recreate the issue seen
  • Screenshots and videos are very helpful.  Videos can be uploaded to a cloud drive services (GoogleDrive, DropBox, OneDrive, YouTube) and links included in your post.  Images can be directly added.
  • If there are specific apps that the app does not work (well) with, please note what apps and their exact versions.  If any app is not common, a link to a trial version would be appreciated.

When I use dark mode (which isn't all that often) I like to use Echo (with the auto darkening setting). Of course it's all opinion as it what looks good and what doesn't. I think it blends it pretty well with the new explorer tabs

Hopefully, we can all at least agree on the new "Added custom titlebar sets for tabbed windows (Windows 11 only)" i.e. new luna skin looks good.

If so then maybe bare minimum master skinners can then start using these new tabbed window frames and we can start getting some new skins that actually look good with explorer tabs going forward.

Well I'm running beta 3, and it acts the same way it did in beta 1. I don't see beta 3 in the about section. WindowBlinds 11.00 BETA (007 x64 - Windows 11 Edition) - 64 bit OS the check for update... says I'm up to date.

I don't know what it shows in Windows 11, but a quick check of the dates should tell you if you're on the latest version.

If you download the installer from your account page, you're sure to get the latest version.

I was able to find a gpu update that seems to speed up the process making the issue more trivial as it no longer hangs for a few seconds although I can still see the issue is present.

I am not using the beta channel at this time. Windows version 22623.730

Gosh I hope not. I just got done doing a clean install to finally get off that channel. I will double check when I am less busy

Ok so I uninstalled and reinsalled now it's acting like beta 2 no windows store apps get skinned either I reported this in beta 2 and I tried numerous skins.This should look like the second screen cap.

Beta 2 and Beta 3 are having the same issues

WB 11 beta 3

nNo store apps getting skinned same as it was in beta 2 I did a clean uninstall and reinstall including the registry

RRevo uninstaller and winrar still don't work

Firefox added to ignore but skinned to dark on some sites.

The ignore list will not opt an app out of system wide colours as they are system wide.  So if a webpage uses a systemwide colour it will use it.  I think firefox may have an option to override colours itself.
