Crashes after each game on IOS 16.1

Just coming here to report the same thing. I submitted the below two support requests via the game, but I'm reposting them here in the event it gets any traction.

Hi there,

Just curious if Dead Man’s Draw is going to see any updates. (Figured it can’t hurt to ask). I fired it up again after a bit, and it’s crashing as soon as a round completes.

Hi there,

I sent an email report over the weekend. Afterwards, I deleted the app and re-downloaded it from the App Store. It still crashes after a round is completed, but the new symptoms are: only the Cannon (remove card from opponent) ability works now. All other cards just play without abilities.

(Y‘know…just in case it makes a difference, if you’re troubleshooting.)

I didn't realize until this morning (11/14/22) that the reply email from Stardock included this:

I'm hoping since Dead Man's Draw seems to still be available for sale in the App Store, that there is some sort of support for it. Please advise if otherwise.

Reporting the crashing of Dead Man’s Draw on IOS 16 .Can play a game then on reaching the end win/ lose screen game crashes .Also no card utility actions apart from canon

Also i see this reported back in November so why is the app still on app store and requesting in app purchases????

I know it doesn’t seem like a problem as instead of taking an email and turning into a ticket, you’d rather auto return an issue and ignore it, can you please fix Dead Man’s draw with the close after every match issue?

I’ve restarted it, uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted the game and iPad, updated my iOS, restored purchases and all I’ve gotten is the same issue and lost progress from around level 19 or higher.  
I love the game but not the lazy response to trying to fix it for the people who want to play

PLEASE FIX THE ISSUE OF IT CLOSING AFTER EVERY MATCH!

thanks for letting us know about this issue. I will let the team know for further investigation.

Looks like ios is abandonware… even with new Kickstarter card edition. May have to cancel my pledge and certain not to look at other stardock offerings… sad 

Was coming here to post about this - and how this is still an issue. Considering Zabik said he'd let the team know - and this was in 2024 (1.5 years ago) - I am assuming it's a safe bet there's no effort to update Dead Man's Hand on iOS?

It's funny, because I really enjoyed the game - and was googling about it (to see if others were reporting an issue) - and stumbled upon the physical card edition which I almost bought till I saw this thread which made me hesitate.

Yes… sad. I did cancel my Kstarter as a result. Really is a shame there is no support for ios.

It is a great solo game on older ios systems. Really deserves a upgrade and then you can actually again charge for it 😊

Agreed, this game was often my "time killer" when I was sitting around at the hospital waiting for my wife.
