windows blinds 11 makes my windows black; cant see any text on them

problems with WB 11

So, I downloaded and installed window blinds 11 beta to day, now, things like dialogue boxes, windows explorer boxes, toolbars properly,  and many other things have turned to solid black, making it impossible to see whats in the window. When I click inside an area, some text or icons get temporarily highlighted, but you cant see them as you should

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and still have the same problem; how can I get it so I can see things normally again?

thank you

of course, rebooted, power off, unplug pc, everything...I've been an object desktop user for ages, so I know this happens sometimes, but usually uninstalling WB will fix this issue

trying to not have to factory restore..

If you uninstall WB and reboot is all OK then

i tried that too, but it didnt fix it

I was just able to fix it by doing this

system restore to a point yesterday

install latest win11 update

reboot

uninstall WB 11

reboot

success, now can see my windows again

I know this has happened many times over the years, especially when installing Stardock Beta software, so wont be doing that anymore
