Don't overlook the 5s community

I'm hoping we can get the option to have a "Rebellion Classic" mode so that the game plays like the current version of Rebellion but on the new engine just in case that ends up being the best version of the game for us.

I'm also hoping that the Devs take online multiplayer seriously and don't just make it an afterthought.  Sins Rebellion as it is now only scratched the surface of this game's online multiplayer potential.  I had always felt that if the game had some robust online multiplayer functionality and were marketed correctly that it could be "the next Starcraft" (referring to the original Starcraft) where tens of thousands of players might be online at the same time with organized clan leagues and ladders, and with the game ending up becoming a big event in Korea.  A game being popular for online multiplayer means more sales resulting in more people online and more longevity and more sales as people buy the game to play with their friends and "the cool kids".

A 'classic' mode isn't in the cards. However, multiplayer is getting a lot of attention.

Thank you for your reply and consideration. Multiplayer in Sins, as far as I am aware of, usually consisted of several factions.
Usually the "comp stompers" or "casual players" who enjoyed the game as a brawl between friends and the more or less "competitive" 5s community, the latter, as far as I am concerned was often overlooked despite many requests over the past 15 years, thats why I made my original post. We are all admire the love you put into this game and therefore have been loyal to your amazing game so far, if you would kindly consider our concerns, wishes and thoughts we would certainly be very grateful.

Thank you yet again for your continuous support, work and money you have put into our favorite RTS. Hopefully, together we can create a legacy for generations of RTS fans to come!

Booo - but not unexpected.  Is a classic mode something that modders might be able to make happen?

I hear you, and you've got my attention.  We do support 5v5, and it's going to get heavy attention from my team.   We are all very eager to hear the community feedback on what they'd like to see from multiplayer, including a focus on 5v5.  I'm sure you folks would crush me under your boot, but when the time is right, it'd be great to get out there and duke it out.  Rest assured, we aren't ignoring this critical part of the game.

Just don't forget us comp stompers who just like to play with our buddies on a LAN against the AI.

I need to post something to see if my account from the old Sins forum transferred over to here properly with the new user name.

I think features that would help PvP players would help Comp Stompers, too, like custom map and mod autodownload, better friends management, being able to join games where a player has dropped, having other players being able to join a spot (with some sort of permission from people in the game), and being able to access chat rooms from inside the game and multiple chat rooms.
