Game not recognising purchase

Hi All,

I have hit a problem with the steam PC version of offworld.

When i install on my laptop, the game greys out many options and says i need to purchase the base game (or words to that effect.

BUt if i install on my desktop no issues.

I have tried reinstalling on both many times as they are linked to the same steam account, but to no effect.

When i install on my laptop it seems to save to a VRoot dirctory. "C:\VTRoot\HarddiskVolume3\Users\marti\OneDrive\Documents\My Games"

On top of the steam directory, and also there seems to be a copy in;

"C:\Users\marti\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\Offworld"

On install to my laptop, i get an unable to sync warning (steam cloud).

Just dumping all info i have, if anyone needs anything else please ask.

Cheers,

Ext

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

Almost without exception, that happens when the launcher expects to find files in a spot that they no longer are.

If you moved the game to an alternate drive since, uninstall \ reinstall may address it.

If that fails, and as a test, try uninstalling \ reinstalling on base C:\

Hi,

Thanks for your response,

I haven't moved any games I just leave them in default, could there be an issue where my computer is auto copying to one drive, then the program gets confused??

When I try to install to base C drive steam won't let me ( I try to do this in Steam ->  settings -> downloads -> steam library folders)

Thanks that is exactly what's happening, any way I can get my pc to stop doing that or get the launcher to look in the correct place?

Hi,
I am having a similar Issue.
Until recently, the game was working just fine on my laptop (Arch Linux).

Since yesterday (there might have been a small update), the game claims that it is no longer the full version.

Everything is in it's default path (As much as that means on Linux...)

Reinstall did not help.

In anyone has helpful ideas, they will be appreciated!
