Rally Points are too transparent imho.

I use Rally Points as map pins and when I'm zoomed in I really cannot see them all that well.

I thought that was just me who couldn't see them well. Maybe it's a graphics setting or something.

yeah, we may need to take some of the transparency out of that graphic, it can be difficult to see, especially on bright backgrounds.
