Possible portraits bug

Details: In my current playthrough, I have one planet that is showing different species portraits, but the tooltips for each citizen says Festron. In the picture below, ALL of those displayed citizens are Festron according to their tooltips.


How to reproduce: no clue what started it, but I am on about the 50th straight turn without reloading or exiting the game; maybe a memory leak kind of thing?

I’ve seen and reported this one before, it’s because the one actual Festron pop murdered another of the pops and replaced it with Festron, just that the portrait didn’t change. Repeat until all pops are transformed.

it also happens with synthetic pops and silicon based pops, which I’m pretty sure is not supposed to happen. I guess technically Baratak would be immune because the Festron seem to be pure carnivores, but the difference isn’t as much compared to silicon based and synthetic.
