Win10 & groupy version1.5. refreshing happens when I open new email, as the tool reopens every single email again and assign it to the tab.
You’ll have to pardon my frustration, but I’ve been attempting to use Groupy with Outlook for quite some time without success.
I’m wondering if there’s been any progress or resolution to this ongoing issue with Outlook, the original post by skylim1981 was around 2 years ago. I’ve installed Outlook on numerous machines and consistently encountered the same challenges—windows resizing, bouncing, and occasionally crashing. I had previously sent in a video to demonstrate the problem but never received a follow-up response.

It seems that these issues for me are limited to Outlook, as I’ve had no trouble with Excel or Word. Recently, I decided to try the Outlook App (not the desktop version), but unfortunately, the same behaviour persists with jumping and resizing windows.
I find it hard to believe that I’m the only one experiencing this, given how widespread Outlook usage is. I’ve installed and reinstalled Groupy across various setups, yet the problem remains. I'm more than willing to revisit this and even create a new video if that would help move things forward. However, if there’s no intention to address this issue, I would appreciate knowing so I don’t waste any more time with the program.
I’ve noticed that Groupy’s last update was in October 2024, and I wonder if active development and support are still ongoing. Perhaps Groupy functions better when installed as part of the Object Desktop suite, but I’ve always used it as a standalone application.
Please let me know if there’s any hope for a resolution. If this is an issue that can’t or won’t be addressed, I’ll understand and move on.

I believe the Groupy 1.5.1.1 was the last update for Groupy1, as you stated in you post, in October of 2024. Since Groupy2 was released in June of 2023, there have only been two updates for Groupy1. I'm not positive, but I believe that support for Groupy1 is probably over. You should consider upgrading to Groupy2 at this point.

If not, you can download a trial here https://www.stardock.com/products/groupy/
Give it a try and see if it resolves your issue.

Thanks for the reply Pelaird. I should have mentioned, I am using Groupy 2, but my issues extend back to Groupy 1. I thought when Groupy 2 came out, my issues would have gone away.
Outlook is a strange beast. I'm not sure MS uses conventional title bars in Outlook, which may be the issue with Groupy. I use Outlook and have it blocked in the settings.
Same for me here.... though for me I'm living in a time capsule... Windows 7 and Outlook 2007.
I have a few older proggies which really hate Groupy but are likely almost unique to me.... so irrelevant...;)
I was hoping the App Store version of Outlook would avoid these issues, but it appears Outlook as a whole is problematic. It’s a bit disappointing because I find using tabs so helpful for productivity, working with multiple mailboxes and calendars open make a big difference in my workflow.
