I always thought it would be great if SD would give developers journals to keep us up to date on what they are doing. Unfortunately, they tend to work on projects in complete silence until they are about to release most of the time.
Stardocks user base, the master skinners, the beta testers, the people that leave feedback regularly; this is what makes Stardock software great. It is the strong passionate core group of everyday users that drives Stardocks software to succeed. I really do hope the powers to be understand the value of this group moving forward. This is because it is a value that can not be manufactured in a office.

I really thought there for a moment with "News Fairly Soon" that we would have something, anything to peak our interest, but speculative speaking seems to be just that, even at the top, we hear conflicting things, seems Windowblinds is becoming a bit of an after thought, with other software taking priority. I feel this may go on and on.

Your not wrong neone6. If the Devs possibly Loved WB as much as some of us, you do have to wonder. Priorities Differ depending who you ask.

That is what I would call a kill shot. Integrating the Windows 10 / 11 start menu would provide clear separation from the competition.
Do we know yet if previous/current skins will still be supported in WB11 making older skins compatible. I was in the process of putting my next list of wants together for Vamp and neone6, but got spooked by a comment in an earlier topic saying, they may not be. It was not a comment by Staff as staff and SD are still not saying a lot about WB11 except comments that seem to contradict each other on when it will arrive.
Whilst there may be some bits which do not get supported, the current plan is where possible old skins will continue to work.
-Is "Transparency" something that might make a Comeback ?
If we are talking about areas like the command bar. Perhaps Windowblinds 11 could build in customization controls specifically for that area i.e. transparency, color, and text color controls just for the command bar.
I can not think of any other bits off the top of my head.

neone6, did i read in a response in anther topic saying something like "You May Update Older skins for those WB11 possible changes" and if we prove a Sale the update will be free. Just looking for a bit of clarity, obviously there will have to be "A Point Of No Update For Older Skins" Or will any skin sold previously get the update treatment, just trying to establish What A Post WB11 landscape will mean for my older Masterskins, cheers.
-If an update needs to be made to a skin, and is released, Then if you show proof of purchase (of the older version) you'll get the New "update" free.
So Only Skins that are released as updated for WB11 will be upgraded free(if you show proof of purchase).
If we have a skin in our collections and it does need an update(as it does not skin correctly), do we contact you for the update so it can be released?

Yes i get that you can not update all skins that need it, but your earlier comment is definitive for me
"Updates will happen when I feel it's necessary" Maybe best to hold off any new purchases until WB11 gets here(it's often older skins, not new ones i am looking at lately) as i would not want one of my Favourite Skins to not work correctly in Win11 as you may not Feel it necessary to update it. I say this as i now look at your older skins with fresh eyes due to the Short Tutorial you kindly provided me (Text Blur Removal).
As soon as we have a Final release of WB11, for me, i see no reason to keep my 2 Win 10 SSDs in the system, I have already worked long enough with Win10, to be able to offer support for work off the top of my head. I may possibly set up one of my Laptops with Win 10, but it will be a plain Jane set up(minimal) just in case for work.

What that point was and how it worked was why i needed clarity.
I have never been in this situation before, i did not know how it would work in A Post WB11 world and needed clarity, you have now given me that. My concerns were very simple as i am looking at yours and Vamps older work with new eyes, Example, for a long time Stealth Drone was my all time Favourite Skin, this skin has worked and looked well through several Windows editions, But now my go to Skin is "Omen", I wanted to know what would happen if my favourite skins did not skin fully in WB11, and what i should do about that eventuality, now i know, that rests fully with you and what you feel is necessary, and in such, Airing on the side of caution, making purchases from your back catalogue, seems like the best plan until we know how WB11 will effect those possible purchases. Now that i have explained fully from were i am coming from, you will see i Do Get It, and Understand.
@naroon1: IF there's a skin someone Really likes, Of course I could Update it for just them for a fee if not too complicated as it would be "bespoke"

I am hoping most old skins will work and play nice in WB11 as i would like several from your back catalogue, but as some go back several years, i was not sure how to move forward seeing as "The Baking " has started for WB11.
I Guess the wait goes on, as we will not know things until we get our Hands on the Baking.
Curious about your Bespoke Charges for small updating say WB 10 to 11, and the numbers involved in creating a Full Bespoke Masterskin from scratch.
Any chance you could make a new Topic dealing in this issue of Bespoke Skins including some ideas/Templates (simple and not so simple) and some prices. I have no idea what numbers or time frames we are talking about here, so i am sure myself and other members would find a topic dealing with Bespoke Skins very helpful and informative, and will just add to the strings in your Bow, in what you can Provide our membership, and of coarse, provide new revenue avenues for yourself.
