ObjectDock crashing

Hi guys,

I'm having trouble with ObjectDock 0.99a crashing every time I try to configure it. Any ideas?

I had installed the weather docklet, calendar docklet and had just installed kkmenu when all hell seems to have broken loose.

Anyone have any ideas? In answer to Morphium's response, I've already done option 4, not sure what else to do.

Well for the Calendar Docklet, if it's not the iCal one, get the most recent version of this, because there were some buggy versions.

KKMenu crashed my Dock here too btw. And after uninstalling there will be a "kkserver.exe" or something still running that also caused my Dock to crash.

Sometimes your videocard also smurfs the Dock.

The kkserver.exe can't crash the dock, unless it is placed in the docklets folder! The installation put it in C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\KkTrayServer

So check out your folder installation!

Docklets that have crashed my dock: iCal, kkmenu docklet alpha (Not anymore), mail checker and weather!

Uh, yes it can. I know where to install it, and it still crashes mine.

One of the iCals crashes my dock too. The one by judge works for me though.


James MacRury - maybe get rid of all the docklets for now, and start adding them back to see if one of them is the problem?
