I am still not receiving kinetic bonus to my survey ship when I receive a bonus from surveying.  All other bonuses seem to be working just fine.

Does your survey ship already have kinetics?  I've never gotten the kinetic bonus if my survey ship doesn't already have it.  This was for all the Beta's.

Not saying it's working as intended, but it's consistent with how the program has run in the past.  I stopped taking the "let the ship have it" option and just pass it on to the scientists.  Love to hear from a Dev if this is broken or not.

I guess I'm wondering why missiles and lasers can get upgraded and kinetic stays at zero?

Nice to see the game release, though please address the lack of replayability, why not have tons more anomaly effects and dialog choices and descriptions and same with all random events.

We tend to get the same things happening over and over again esp anomalies as you can scan 100's of these each game and its so lame to get the same ones repeating. You could even do a random credit generation that say you found a x precious metal and sold it for x amount. Least it would be different

Surely you can get someone imaginative to add in 100's of extra events each week in these already defined fields so its not repeating. I dont see why this would take much time at all as its basicallty a text field, some options and an action result.

I don't know about 100s each week, but yeah, there definitely needs more than seemingly two dozen or so. Especially since it seems like some ideologies are not well presented. It's very hard to raise individualism, for instance.

I think stardock could also get community involvement for these, a trusted contributer could prefill a spread sheet with interesting options. i would imagine the code is already there and it mainly requires content, in which case no reason why we couldn't end up with 100's of items or more.

I’m not sure if events should be the source of replay ability. But I know the team has plans to keep adding events as time goes by.

Yeah.  Last game I ended up with 20 survey ships, and that was after I decommissioned a few.

1. Now, post 1.0, will patches to the live branch always be save game friendly or would you at least give a big warning if one patch was not?

2. Can we take this as a rough rule: start a new game to profit from balance changes; fixes and UI changes do not need a new game?

Please add "Support Field Stabilization" module to Mining Starbases so that we can reach that resource on the far side of Blackholes.

I just noticed that there's one hex which picks up all 3 resources on a black hole, but this feature would still be useful when 2 different resources are very close or a relic is just out or reach.

Bugs:
- Often you cannot see the available improvements (I do not talk about planets without any free tile). Saving and reloading makes them all visible again

Feedback:
- Battle log. In order to reach at least one damage point the (shown) attack value is increased above the defense value. I think it would be less confusing to decrease the (shown) def value instead
- Drengin. Prison Labor Camp and Prison Research Camp. Maybe this is just a bug, but their colony unique attribute mutualy excludes the other type. If this is not a bug this should be mentioned in their tooltip. I developed a "plan" to use both types and increase citizen count. Now I see that I cannot build both. This makes my whole plan much less effectiv and there was no chance to see this before.

I think it would be good to be able to build both on one planet. You would get +5% man. and +3% science per prisoner. Normal citizens often get +8%. This is a drengin special ability.


- I conquered Iconia (Yor) and sent one drengin citizen. I got one drengin and four yor. Population growth is really low (next pop in 30 turns). Yor do not contribute to growth – so far so good. But it seems like they do count as a "cost" to growth like other species do. Maybe this should get a rework. One solution would be to calculate the average of growth of the other citizens and take this number for the yor to determine the growth rate. Completely ignoring Yor could be a problem cause this would be a "buff" in comparison to worlds without yors (it would be easier to increase high pop numbers)

Bugs:
- The end of Against the Tide "stops" The Everwar. I am in peace with other civs but cannot talk to them (galaxy locked in war). Other civs are still at war at each other and the counter for the Galactic Challenge is still increasing. So, the game is in an inconsistent state. There should be a check in both directions when they end
- I defeated three dreadlords but only two of three are counted for the galactic challenge. I observed that I got the second point one turn after defeating the third. I am not 100% sure but maybe I killed two of them in the same turn
