Thanks, Derek.

Any more MP desync issues fixed?

Does that 'Workshop' feature mean Steam Workshop support (in other words is the game coming to Steam at release?), or is it an in-game mod interface also called Workshop?

The in game user content sharing is also called the Workshop.

It is all in game, and all supported by Stardock's systems. Meaning that no matter what platform GC4 goes to, players will be able to create and share content with each other.

Just the three big desyncs mentioned in the post. MP is much more reliable.

Is 0.99 compatible with previous saved games?  I have loaded a 0.95 saved game from this morning, and it crashes after about 30 seconds of game play.  I have repeated this 3 times and it has crashed consistently each time.

The following screen snapshot from the Epic Games Launcher shows version 1.00 not 0.99.  What is going on?

Version 1.00.343708 is crashing within the first minute of launching it.  It crashes during the opening video, it crashes while I am modifying my custom civilization.  Is anybody else experiencing this or is it just me?

Further to my question re compatibility with 0.95 saved games, I have a bigger issue with 0.99 - it won't run - period.  It also crashes when I start a new game.  I have verified the game files from the Epic Games Launcher with no success.  I am now uninstalling and reinstalling.  Note - I have been playing since Alpha 0.30, and have not experienced this problem before.

Hopefully the reinstall will fix this.

Same issue here with 0.99. Crashes to an error screen every time, when first starting the game.

I'm also seeing the game crash. It seems random, but I can't even start a new game.

Game then updated to V 1.0, but still crashes to desktop with an error screen every time, upon first loading.

Hotfix pushed, crash should be fixed. Please let me know if anyone else is seeing it.

Working fine, now - thanks, Derek

Derek, can we assign Control cost to enacting/changing of new Policies? That would make it more meaningful late game.

Loaded an old Terran save and the ship icons are invisible. Any way to update them to use the new ships?

Ok, I guess you finally got me: first 1.0 game with Drengin. Against the Tide, Everwar and Apocalypse :D

A friend and I started a MP session today, with V 0.99. We loaded a saved game from last week 0.95. We got only part  way through the Terran Alliance turn when the game froze on me and I could not hit the arrow to advance the turn. I could exit to the main menu. We tried this 3 times. I even saved part way through the turn, but the same freeze happened, even after re-loading the new saved game.

I noticed that my Gaze ship had no icon showing - only a black box - in the fleet display at lower left.

In one instance, we had the Terran Alliance symbol at bottom right, next to the turn arrow, but no wording "Terran Alliance".

I can provide a saved game via dropbox.

As an update, we started a new MP game with 0.99.  We played a full 3 hours without any disconnects or freezes. It appears that the issue was our old saved game with 0.95.

Derek, could you please re-introduce Sandbox mode into the MP game. We will give it a playtest. When that is working, then you could then add AI players, thanks.
