Unable to choose a government

Hello!

I was really enjoying the game on Gamepass, so I thought I would purchase some DLC. I purchased the Intrigue DLC and installed.

However, when I get to the "choose government" screen after starting my second colony, there are no governments to choose and I am unable to advance the game...

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

I would recommend verifying integrity of game files, but I'm not sure Gamepass has such a feature.

Please try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

Thank you for the response. I verified and uninstalled and reinstalled, multiple times, to no avail.

So I just bought the game on Steam with some DLC instead of dealing with Gamepass.

Surprise! It all works.
