vertical taskbar

wishlist item for many

So far Stardock support has been amazing and fast - very cool. Here's a wishlist item - could you please find a way to restore the vertical taskbar?  There are other 3rd party s/w that can do this, but I don't want to get rid of Start11 nor install possibly competing / conflicting other similar apps.

Given the number of posts / questions / comments - I think this would be a  big hit!

And yes I plan to subscribe (just eeking out the last few free trial days!).

Cheers, Rick.

The lack of a vertical taskbar option is the _only_ thing keeping me from using Start11, I hope it gets implemented! (My need for a vertical taskbar currently outweighs my need for a Win10 style start menu).

@NFOtte - don't let this missing feature deter you from subscribing!  The rest of the app is rock solid and great feature packed as-is; this will be icing on the cake, I have no doubt they will get it done. cheers rick.

Start 11 and explorerpatcher do work together, you will just need to turn off start 11's "enhance taskbar" option. This is probably the best option for people that want a side taskbar right now. At least until one gets built for Windows 11 specifically.

+1 on vertical taskbar functionality.

Start 11 + Explorer Patcher with vertical taskbar kinda work, but with bugs.

When Start 11 service is started the Control Center flyout is not working.

Where is this setting? I do not see an "enhance taskbar" setting.

No, not yet. When Stardock makes changes to software, they generally create a post about it.

Help! Just got new laptop with Win11 Pro without knowing MS have removed this feature
(though they are ironically forcing it on Office Users, haha, what gives?).
Voting HUGE +1 on this feature request.

My life the last 8 or 9 years, I guess, since Win7 anyway:

Outlook now, with mandatory app bar:
